Bill Ogle leads marketing and branding efforts across the globe, which includes building the brand presence of Motorola Mobility and driving both demand and sell-through of our company's products and services.
Ogle oversees Motorola Mobility teams that have developed new brand positioning, a communication strategy, in-store retail improvements, as well as launches for the widely acclaimed family of DROID™ by Motorola smartphones for consumers and business users. He also is leading efforts to market a range of innovative products that address emerging consumer demand driven by the convergence of mobility, media, consumer computing and the Internet.
He brings a wealth of consumer and global experience to the task of developing Motorola Mobility's brand strategy and draws upon his work with some of the most recognizable global consumer brands.
Ogle joined Motorola in 2009. Prior to that, he served as chief marketing officer (CMO) for Samsung Telecommunications America, where he developed an extensive knowledge of the mobile devices industry. Earlier in his career, he was CMO at Pizza Hut and held brand management positions at Procter & Gamble and Sara Lee Corp.
He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati. Ogle serves on the United States Ad Council Board of Directors, the CMO Council Board of Advisors and The Arts Community Alliance Board of Directors. He also is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
