Blue Calypso Retains Fish & Richardson and Dickstein Shapiro, LLP to Protect and Enforce Intellectual Property Rights

DALLAS, TEXAS February 16, 2012 —(BUSINESS WIRE)—Blue Calypso, Inc. (OTCBB: BCYP.OB) ("Blue Calypso" or the "Company") announced today it has retained Fish & Richardson and Dickstein Shapiro LLP to protect its intellectual property rights and enforce its patent portfolio. The Company intends to aggressively seek licensing opportunities with parties currently using their intellectual property and to pursue those parties that may be infringing. Blue Calypso currently holds U.S. Patent No. 7,664,516 titled "Method and System for Peer-to-Peer Advertising Between Mobile Communication Devices" which was granted in February of 2010 and covers its core "Calyp" platform. Calyp delivers digital word-of-mouth marketing and advertising between brand advertisers and their advocates by leveraging mobile and social media technologies. The Company has three additional continuation-in-part (CIP) U.S. patents pending which extend the Company's patent rights in areas of brand and subscriber matching, enhanced endorsements through media-rich personalization and geo-location enabled couponing.
